"I'm really good at sewing and creating clothes, it's my best talent," she said.

The 18-year-old already has her own clothing label Ole Skool, which she sells online. While she wants to continue studying fashion in the future, her dreams will be put on hold due to high tuition fees of fashion schools.

"The government doesn't fund my course at the moment, so I'll probably work for a year before hopefully going to a fashion college like FBI," she said.

This year's Textiles and Design course at Wollongong High seemed to inspire creative entrepreneurs with fellow student Ania Wisniewski aiming to eventually set up a patisserie business.

"I'm doing a patisserie apprenticeship and course at TAFE and after that I want to do business studies so I can open my own business," she said.

"I love being creative and textiles, visual arts and hospitality all come together to let me do that."
