But when she arrives in the Illawarra with Perth Glory her focus will instead be to push herself out of her comfort zone in pursuit of a double.
The Glory may have wrapped up their first W-League maiden premiership but with the finals looming, Foord knows there is no time to take the foot off the pedal.
Perth take on Foord's former club Sydney FC at WIN Stadium on Sunday with a deep post-season campaign beckoning.
It's a position she's happy to be in.
"It has been really good. Obviously on the field it has been good but off the field too. Our team has been really close," Foord said.
"We have had a lot of fun.
"It is really cool because it is the first time Perth Glory has ever won the Women's Premiership before.
" It's cool to be a part of that and have my name in that to be the first to win."
Foord was one of a number of players to join the Glory in the off-season.
With former Sky Blues teammate and good friend Sam Kerr, the former Illawarra Sports High student made the long flight west.
"We didn't know if we were all going to gel on the pitch as well as we have and we have only lost one game," Foord explains.
"It has been a good season so far but the season is only half done."
For Foord in particular, the 2014 campaign has been one to cherish.
"Last year with my foot it kind of bothered me all year so it has been nice to have no major injuries and have nothing to worry about," she said.
Foord is in talks with Sky Blue FC in the United States for another season with the club. But she also has bigger plans in mind.
"My main goal is going to be the World Cup. It is a big year leading up to the World Cup, so maybe something [with Sky Blue] after that," she said.
Talk of the World Cup may be hard to comprehend after a difficult week for women's football in Australia. Cuts to the ABC saw W-League coverage cancelled from next season.
"It is disappointing to cut it," Foord said.
"Hopefully another channel can pick it up because it is always fun and exciting when you have the TV game.
"Our family and friends get to watch it."
