The couple bought luxurious Round Hill in August 2012 – shortly after their May nuptials – for a reported sum of "about $3.25 million". The property has since undergone an extensive renovation under Mrs Clarke's direction and, with the addition of a swimming pool and pool house, is now listed for $6.5 million.
The move follows a busy 12 months for the couple, who dropped $8.5 million on a five-bedroom home in Sydney's harbourside suburb of Vaucluse in March 2014. In December, after some three years on and off the market, the Clarkes sold off their Lilli Pilli waterside pad for $2.55 million, well down on the bullish $2.87 million Pup paid for it in 2006.
Prospective buyers of the Richard Rowe-designed Berrima estate will have plenty of room to swing a bat with sweeping lawns and nine paddocks. The property also includes a tennis court, dams and luxury guest accommodation.
