Wolves coach Nahuel Arrarte has urged his men to regain focus for Wednesday's FFA Cup date with destiny.
South Coast are on the verge of potentially securing another A-League opponent if they can defeat Sydney Olympic at Cromer Park to qualify for the competition's main draw.
They earned entry into the final-32 last season to set up a dream tie with former A-League champions Central Coast Mariners.
The Mariners won the fixture 1-0 but the match proved a huge hit with local fans as more than 5000 people came through the gates at WIN Stadium.
A win on Wednesday would again see them given the chance of meeting a national league team if the ballot falls in their favour.
For that to occur, the Wolves will have to put in a more polished display than the one which saw them lose 1-0 to Rockdale City Suns on Sunday.
"We have to put it [match with Rockdale] behind us and worry about Wednesday," Arrarte said.
"We need to make sure we don't dish out a performance like that because Olympic will punish us. Not just once. They have too much quality to ignore.
"In saying that, if our players are switched on and can execute, we won't have a problem."
Olympic have been the NSW NPL's form team through nine rounds and sit top of the competition.
Their unbeaten start to the 2015 campaign came to an end over the weekend when they were handed a 4-2 defeat by Blacktown City.
They overcame fellow NSW top flight squad Manly United 2-1 in their last FFA Cup game and will be looking to add the Wolves to their list of scalps.
Asked if his men would get up for the occasion, Arrarte said: "There are no excuses. Every game you should be up for. Look at where we are on the table. There is no reason for complacency or people not to be up for games."
The Wolves need only look back at their last FFA Cup match for inspiration to progress.
South Coast hammered Yagoona Lions 10-1 in round six of the preliminary stages after wins over Spirit FC and Mount Druitt Town Rangers in the earlier rounds.
