KIAMA Quarriers FC first grade had a busy weekend, scoring two draws in matches against Blagownie Rangers and Wests Illawarra.

On Saturday they scored a 2-2 draw away to Balgownie Rangers.
Kiama started lethargically on a sodden Judy Masters Park and were made to pay when Balgownie's Damian Masi opened the scoring in the sixth minute.
Player-coach James Spence and assistant Curtis Campbell implored Kiama to improve in the second half.
Spence was delighted with his side's response as a rejuvenated Quarriers outfit played some of their best attacking football of the season after the break.
They levelled the score in the 72nd minute through burly striker James Donlon. Donlon, making his first appearance since becoming a father, made an incisive run and finished from point blank range following Daniel Sigmund's superb cross.
Despite their attacking verve, Kiama gave away a cheap penalty and allowed Andrew Harrower to make it 2-1 in the 80th minute.
Kiama continued to play enterprising football and restored parity in the 83rd minute. Daniel Swinton dribbled into the penalty area and squared the ball to Kiama captain Dean Land, who finished expertly.
Kiama continued to batter the Balgownie goal but the scores remained 2-all.
Earlier in the day, Kiama's youth grade side won 1-0 courtesy of another goal to the free-scoring Josh Keatley.
Coach Neil Spence was delighted at his side's fourth consecutive victory, while reserve grade side performed admirably and was unlucky to lose 1-0.
On Sunday they came from behind three times in their 3-3 draw with Wests Illawarra FC at The Quarry.
The match started in sunny conditions just 24 hours after both sides played their previous fixture.
Wests started brightly and took the lead after some shambolic Kiama defending.
Kiama failed to clear the ball after a controversial refereeing decision and were made to pay when a Wests attacker scored from close-range.
Wests were awarded a penalty in the 45th minute but Kiama goalkeeper Dean Beichert made a huge save to keep it 1-0.
Kiama were enlivened in the second half and were rewarded for their industry when Daniel Swinton dispatched a spot kick to make it 1-1.
Despite dominating play, Kiama went 2-1 down after a Wests free-kick looped over Beichert and into the right corner.
Kiama hit back after captain Dean Land forced a Wests own goal.
There was late drama as Wests made it 3-2 before Kiama substitute Jay Horobin latched onto a Jason Forrester cross to make it 3-3 just before the final whistle.
Earlier in the day, the youth grade side’s winning streak ended following a 4-3 defeat to a strong Wests outfit. Nathan Wilson bagged a double and the prolific Josh Keatley added another to his tally.
Reserve grade side won 3-2 courtesy of a double to elegant midfielder Jye Marks and one to speedy winger Forrester.
Kiama host Oak Flat Falcons on Saturday.
