It was a budget breakfast buffet that only offered reheated commitments for the Illawarra, according to the region's Labor MPs.

Opposition spokesman for Illawarra Ryan Park described the government's infrastructure commitments as just another round of re-announcements, while Shellharbour MP Anna Watson said none of the promised bacon was served.
"We've been short-changed significantly; we have seen projects announced [in Tuesday's budget] that were essentially announced a long time ago," Mr Park said.
"We've seen projects like Bulli Hospital finally get some money allocated, but this was a project that was announced when the Illawarra Infrastructure Fund was first announced close to two years ago."
He said there was no outline of how much of the remaining $100 million of the Restart Illawarra Infrastructure Fund was to be spent. "That's a concern of mine and something that I'll continue to pursue the government to disclose."
Ms Watson said despite the parliamentary secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast, Gareth Ward, telling the Mercury Tuesday's budget would "bring home the bacon", it had delivered "bugger all".
"This budget's bacon wouldn't fill a breakfast plate," she said.
Ms Watson said no funding "road map" was given for the Albion Park Rail bypass or Shellharbour Hospital upgrade. However, the budget contained some planning money for each.
The region was again compared to the Hunter, which Mr Park said received more than $391 million compared to the Illawarra's just over $200 million.
"Similar economies, facing some somewhat similar economic challenges in terms of our manufacturing and our mining sectors - what we're seeing is the Illawarra considerably short-changed in comparison to the Hunter."
Mr Ward said it was clear the opposition didn't like the budget.
"Debt going down, they don't like it; record surplus, they don't like that ... record spending in the Illawarra, they don't like that either. I think budgets are an opportunity for political leaders, regardless of whether they're Liberal or Labor ... to say what they would do for the region, because that's part of your role.
"All I hear from the Labor opposition is they don't like it. I'm happy to side with the team that's delivering record expenditure in our region, record roads funding, record health funding.
"We have never seen money from any level of government come to this region like we're seeing now."
