English Premier League giants Liverpool FC have posted a message of condolence to the Adelaide Crows following the tragic death of coach Phil Walsh on Friday morning.

Liverpool are set to head to the Crows' home ground, Adelaide Oval, to play A-League side Adelaide United in a pre-season friendly later this month.
Minute's silences in honour of Walsh were impeccably observed at both the AFL, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the NRL, at Pepper Stadium on Friday night.

While there were calls to cancel the entire AFL round, all matches will go ahead with the exception of Adelaide's clash with Geelong on Sunday afternoon, with the points split between the two teams.
Liverpool's tour of Australia will see them play Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium on July 17th, before heading to South Australia to play United at Adelaide Oval on Monday the 20th.
