Police allege Ben Mark Everest, 28, was responsible for a spate of break and enter offences at homes in Thirroul, Woonona, Fairy Meadow and Russell Vale between June 5 and June 15.
Court documents reveal each of the break-ins occurred during the night, when people were in the homes. On the night of June 6, five homes on Fords Road in Thirroul were hit, police said.
It has not yet been revealed in court what evidence police have allegedly linking Everest to the crimes.
He was arrested in Wollongong on the night of June 15, at which time police allegedly found him in possession of 8.5 grams of cannabis, a small amount of ice and goods believed stolen, including three Samsung phones, a laptop computer, an Apple iPad and iPhone. He will reappear in court next month.
