Bulli fought out a tough 2-1 away victory Picton Rangers while the Blueys notched up a big 3-0 win at Macedonia Park against last season’s grand final winners, Wollongong United.
A 13 minute hat-trick from Matthew McNab helped the Fury to a 4-3 triumph at Terry Reserve against Albion Park White Eagles.
The Fury and Bulli are level at the top of the competition on 13 points after five rounds, with Tarrawana just a further point back in third.
Picton (nine points) and Albion Park (seven points) round out the top-five. In Saturday’s other match, Wollongong Olympic returned to form with an emphatic 4-1 win over Woonona.
