Week one early leader and quite possibly the most confident man in Australia, Crawfordrs, topped the leaderboard at the end of the day and crowed, “I think it's safe to say I have the tournament pretty much wrapped up.”
Crawfordrs chipped away all day and had a cracking return when he stacked $35,000 of Bettabucks (virtual currency) on Archives to receive a return of $119,000.
He then backed that bet up with a cool $100,000 on Tsaritsa to win $240,000 which helped him leapfrog over his competitors, flying to the top.
Meanwhile, the Punters Show’s Glennsta was in stealth mode, under everyone’s radar as a string of losing bets did not halt his slow climb into second place, showing why he could be the tournament dark horse.
A well-informed punt on Snippets Land at $3,500 returned Sydney racing guru $68,250 after it saluted at the line and paid a whopping $19.50, putting the Glennsta back in contention.
“Good luck to him [Crawfordrs] but we are both still 50 to 100 to one chances. There is a long, long way to go,” Glennsta said.
Glennsta is famous for his ‘inner psycho’ when it comes to punting and reckons there is no need for it at the moment in the tournament.
“It's inner psycho on the last day. The ability to have no feelings when wagering big and I don't know if I'm a psychopath or just so numb from punting, so I'm void of feelings.
“As for tactics they will be the same as last week, very happy to put a prison around 150k+ but if I do like something I'll be betting,” Glennsta said.
The crafty Glennsta believes it will take $2 million to win the tournament and questioned whether Crawfordrsb would still be on top.
Crawfordrs was unperturbed, though; “My plan for Saturday was to make more imaginary dollars than everyone else. Looks like I succeeded.”
Do not miss out on the fantastic tournament that will win one lucky punter $100,000. You don’t even need to know your horses to win cash with TopBetta.
