She is competing in the NSW final of Miss World Australia in Sydney on Friday.
Ms Sindanovic has been interested in modelling since she was talked into entering a Wollongong City Centre competition when she was 12. In April she won through to the state level by impressing the judges during the preliminary rounds of the Beauty With A Purpose pageant.
Miss World Australia organisers were looking for young role models with inner beauty that amplifies their outer beauty. And the 20 year old from Mount Pleasant impressed the judges with the way she devotes much of her time to advocating a zero tolerance policy to bullying in schools.
Ms Sindanovic also wants to help address poverty and was recognised for having a genuine devotion to helping people in need. The organisers described the former St Mary’s Star of the Sea student as a true example of the philanthropic and social impact Miss World Australia is looking for. The NSW final is being held at Sir Stamford, Circular Quay.
Ms Sindanovic will be judged during the introduction, evening wear and question and answers sections.
The national final will be held at Melbourne Crown Towers on July 22. The Top 5 will then travel to Thailand at the beginning of August. And Miss World Australia 2016 will compete at the international competition in Washington DC on December 20.
