The last thing this country needs are individuals promoting hate and division within our communities.
Hanson's views on Asian and indigenous Australians almost 20 years ago has proven wrong.
The Chinese and Vietnam communities have made a great contribution to the country, while after 200 years of no real understanding and discrimination, significant changes have occurred opening up opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to make a contribution to both their communities as well as society generally.
I acknowledge we are not there yet, but there can be no question the action taken by governments has proven Hanson wrong.
This swing to the right across the world demonstrates that the terrorists are wining, creating racial tension, division and intolerance. One thing that appears to be evident is that it is older people pushing this swing to the right.
It was older voters who swung the vote for the UK to leave the European Union, despite the fact that younger voters, who wanted to stay will have to bear the consequences of that decision.
Younger people 18 to say 40 years of age are not the support base for USA's Trump or One Nation; the base is primarily older less tolerant people.
The first Sunday night of Vivid in Sydney was packed with families and people from all backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. You needed patience to navigate through the various light shows on the harbour and in the gardens.
However, not an angry voice was heard, but a respectful crowd enjoying the displays. It has been multiculturalism that has made our country a great place.

WHAT IS THE POINT?
We had a world legal enquiry into America, England and Australia invading Iraq.
The enquiry finds the invasion to be illegal.
The three counties leaders ignore the findings as does the world.
The leaders also make no apology for the illegal invasion.
Now we have a world legal enquiry finding the Chinese don't have a right to the China sea
The Chinese leaders ignore the findings and our politicians want to argue the Chinese are wrong.
Why don't they stand up and support the Iraq findings?
This just proves what a joke the legal system and our politicians are.
The only winners are the legal people who come up with findings and get well paid.
What is the point if people only support the findings that they want.

A KEY QUESTION
It always amazes me what motivates greyhound dogs to race flat out for possibly an open can of Pal dog food spinning along on the circular wire of the dog track.
Is there another reason or motivation for such a strenuous endurance by these dogs?
The answer to this shall be the decider of whether to ban greyhound racing or not.

LEAGUE WORLD CUP DECISION TERRIBLE
Brain dead Baird and the executive of the NRL not putting any money to get a rugby league world cup game out in the west.
Just giving GWS a free hit to people out in that area.
I suppose Baird will spend another few billion on private tollway to nowhere to win their hearts and minds.
Geoff Toovey was right “there’s got to be an investigation”.
