Six schools from the Illawarra’s southern suburbs are vying for a grant to help fund education projects, and they need the community to choose which school should win.

The $5000 grant is being provided by member-owned financial institution CUA as part of its Community Care program. Illawarra schools that have nominated projects include Unanderra, Jamberoo, Shell Cove and Warilla North Public School, Kanahooka High School and Nazareth Catholic Primary School. Details about each project can be found online at www.cuacommunitycare.com.au. Individuals can each make up to two votes – once at the voting kiosk in the CUA Shellharbour branch, and one online. Voting is now open and closes on August 23 at 4.30pm.
