The motley crew spent a week in Whitianga in Mercury Bay on the North Island above Auckland and Phil said their pre organised trips out on local charter “Epic Adventures” described their trip perfectly – epic.
Over four outings, they caught and released 130 kingies between them ranging from a mere 10 kilos up to monsters above 30kg.
