Mt Kembla Village Hotel FC held their monthly comp last weekend and although the swell kept a few boats inshore on Saturday, Sunday was a different matter with heaps of snapper, flathead and morwong presented to the weigh master.

Rob Dorevski did exceptionally well in the BRE to easily take out that section while Daniel Wakeford upsized the club luderick record with a solid and well conditioned fish.
Bill Sheppard also raised the club record bar with his solid mowie but it was Jan Wilson who fished St Georges Basin to land her 1.48 kilogram (cleaned) bream that got all talking.
The northern drifts off Scarborough and Bellambi were kind to the flatty guys who scored with some great catches hitting the tables including lots of gummy sharks. The better sized flatties seem to be on the wider drifts in 50 to 70 metre depth lines.
