Marine Rescue NSW has recently commissioned one of the newest rescue vessels to join its fleet at Batemans Bay with Batemans 20, a $300,000 investment in boating safety.

The 7.5m Ocean Cylinder will boost the capability of marine search and rescue volunteers and will primarily be deployed to respond to emergencies and other incidents on inshore offshore waterways. It can also travel up to 15 nautical miles offshore in support of the unit’s primary response vessel.
