Despite illness forcing Daryl Braithwaite to cancel several Red Hot Summer Tour appearances, his management has assured he’ll be OK for the Kiama leg of the tour.
The Horses singer advised on his Facebook page this week of “illness and sudden admission into Hospital”, leaving The Black Sorrows to fill in last minute to the sold-out shows.
“Daryl Braithwaite plans to be back on the forthcoming Red Hot Summer Tour run after Australia Day,” his management said in a statement.
The 68-year-old is set to play alongside John Farnham, James Reyne and Taxiride at Kiama Showground on March 18.
While Shannon Noll, who’s also on the bill, has vowed to continue his scheduled performances after being arrested over a fight outside Adelaide strip club The Crazy Horse Revue.
