You may recognise David Duchovny as the face of ‘90s sci-fi from his role as Agent Mulder in The X-Files, or as the womanizing novelist Hank Moody in Californication.
But the actor and film-maker has another talent, he’s a singer and songwriter and bringing his band to the Illawarra in 2018.
It’s the first time Duchovny will do a concert tour of Australia, keeping dates tight to the east coast with shows also in Melbourne. Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
The 56-year-old introduced the world to his music with a rock album, Hell Or Highwater, in 2015.
The cool guitar riffs and melodies payed homage to his musical heroes Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen and R.E.M.
Duchovny is currently bunkered down in studio working on his second release, scheduled to hit shelves and iTunes later in the year.
David Duchovny plays Anita’s Theatre, Thirroul, February 25 2018. Tickets on say Friday June 2 from www.davidduchovnymusic.com
