Police uncovered a hydroponic set up and seized about $2 million in cannabis plants from an Illawarra home on Monday.

Wollongong police searched a Wonson Avenue home at Coniston and found 418 indoor enhanced-hydroponic cannabis plants about 2pm.
Police said the estimated street value of the cannabis plants is $2 million.
Police will allege in court that the entire property had been converted for the sole purpose of growing cannabis plants.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have information on the hydroponic set up to contact Wollongong Police Station or Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.
