Senior Constable Jason Hall admitted fleecing $15,000 from the station’s Highway Patrol Adventurer Club bank account between September 2014 and July 2016.
He had been due to be sentenced in court on Friday on one charge of dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage by deception after his lawyer, Matt Ward, sought an adjournment on the last occasion to have psychological reports prepared.
However, prosecutors said they wanted the author of Hall’s psychological report to be in court for cross examination and had the matter further adjourned to August 14.
