2.50pm: All lanes on the Princess Highway near Tongarra Road have reopened after a truck and car crash earlier on Friday.
The site has been cleared.
Traffic remains heavy with southbound motorists facing 5km queues.
Earlier: Emergency services are working to free a person trapped after a truck and car crash at Albion Park Rail.
Two of three southbound lanes on the Princes Highway, just past Tongarra Road, are closed.
Motorists can use the Illawarra Highway, Terry Street and Croome Road to return to the Princes Highway as an alternative route.
Traffic is heavy and the Transport Management Centre advises motorists to avoid the area.
