Thirteen films from thirteen countries will be on show for FREE at the Gala Cinema in Warrawong from September 7 to 11.
The themes range from a musical drama set in 1920, to a heartfelt comedy about terminal illness, a family animation, romance for a single dad and a love story between two baseball fans.

Phoenix Theatre presents Slacky Flat
A play written by former Mount Kembla School teacher and renowned playwright Wendy Richardson.
It’s is set in Bulli where Slacky Flat became the site of a camp of temporary homes during the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
Running at the Bridge Street Theatre in Coniston until September 23.

Bodysurfing Titles & Surf Photo Exhibition
Coledale Beach will host the Whomp Off Australia bodysurfing titles this Saturday and Sunday – events begin at 8am (swell dependent).
While the South Coast Bodysurfers exhibition will officially open on Saturday, 6:30-9:30pm at the Timber Mill Studios in Bulli. (This exhibition will also run across September 23 and 24).

Bondi2Berry
More than 60 bicycle riders will trek 150 kilometres from Bondi to Berry this Saturday.
They’re doing it to raise awareness and money for dementia research. All proceedsgo to Alzheimer’s Australia.
Riders will arrive at Blow Hole Point around 11.45am for a one-hour pit stop.
Dementia is the second biggest cause of death in Australia, and there is currently no cure.
An estimated 1.2 million Australians are caring for someone with dementia.

Glenn Miller Orchestra
The Glenn Miller Orchestra is returning to the WIN Entertainment Centre to transport music lovers to the Great Gatsby era with big band swing.
Upbeat arrangements of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and drums will accompany singers and the Broadway Swing Dancersto present some of the biggest hits from the 1930s and 1940s.

Otford Public School is running a Rainbow Run as their major fundraiser for the year.
Whether you are a keen sportsperson who wants to run 10km or a family with young children who would like to do our shorter course, there is something for everyone.
Registration from 7am with three courses are on offer: 10km - 8am, 5km - 9am or 1.5km - 10am.
Children under 5yo FREE.
Sausage sizzle, water station, ice cream and cakes will also be for sale on the day. Food stalls, DJ, kids rides 8am – 12pm.

Spring Into Corrimal
Thousands are expected to visit the northern Illawarra suburb on Sunday for their annual community fair – on from 9am to 4pm.
Attractions include dunking machine (with Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery and Mr Boultwood in the firing line), the Grande Parade at 10am, amusements and rides, entertainment on the main stage, international food arena, community stage, art exhibition, community hub and the Obey Wan Jedi School.
