Students from the Joanne Grace School of Dance in Fairy Meadow have been selected to perform on a televised dance competition and in the running to win $28,000.

The troupe is one of 17 chosen from around the state (and one from Western Australia) to be part of the Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions on September 17.
All troupes in the competition secured their spot after placing first, second or third in qualifying events during the eisteddfod.
The Fairy Meadow group qualified by winning the Contemporary/Modern Expressive/Lyrical Dance Group (12 and under) event at the 2017 Sydney Eisteddfod.
The program will be televised on Network Ten/WIN on Sunday October 15 at 12:30pm.
