Come and support this great event – whatever your age or knitting skill.
Throughout 2016, volunteers knitted and sewed blankets which were distributed to those in need all around the world, including 2000 wraps to the Syria-Turkey border to help those displaced by the war.
To learn about the charity, go to www.wrapwithlove.org.
Organised in partnership with the Knitters Guild NSW Inc., Kiama Group, our Knit In will run from 10.30am – 12pm with free morning tea provided.
Needles and yarn will be supplied; however keen knitters are welcome to bring their own knitting supplies. Size 8 (4mm) needles and 8-ply yarn are recommended.
Finished squares and donations of yarn can be dropped off at Kiama Library on the day or at any time throughout the year.
Contact Kiama Library to book your spot or for more information on 4233 1133 or library@kiama.nsw.gov.au.
