The 45 minute sessions will involve time spent one-on-one answering a series of questions and working with young women to create a movement or a gesture that articulates something about them.
Hepi will then collate the movements and unite them for a dance sequence to be showcased to participants in a private, one-off event at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre on October 27.
The central idea of the project is to engage with women and empower them with the confidence to move their body.
Workshop venues include North Wollongong Surf Club and IPAC with sessions to be held between October 21 to 25. Places are limited.
The performance on October 27 is for participants only.
