Event organiser Josh Tree, of Better You Health Group, said men and women were both attending the lunch at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach which is about promoting men’s health and encouraging men to get a check up and talk to other men about their health.
Mr Tree said there were some limited seats are still available from the event organisers at info@itsablokeslunch.com.
Guest panelists include former Bachelor and Ninja Warrior Australia competitor Tim Robards and Special Forces commando and Australian Ninja Warrior Scott Evennett.
The emcee is Jeremy Wilshire from Destination Wollongong and the live auctioneer is Daniel Hastings from MMJ.
Mr Tree said the keynote address is being delivered by Dr Simon Rosenbaum and Wollongong City Council is now also supporting the event.
Mr Tree said others attending included St George Illawarra Dragons chief executive Peter Doust, doctors, specialists, allied health representatives, MP’s such as Stephen Jones, Paul Scully and Ryan Park.
“We also have some amazing money can't buy experience prizes on offer in the Live Auction like Sunday at the Stables with Gai Waterhouse and access to VIP race day experiences at the Premier NSW race tracks Royal Randwick, Rosehill, Warwick Farm and Canterbury and Hurlstone Park for four people, There is also a corporate experience at an upcoming Illawarra Hawks game.”
