Producer Peter Mayes told the Illawarra Mercury “you can’t waste any time” when the creative juices were on a roll, however the next album is probably a year away from release.
“It’s a great time to play so hopefully people will know more of the new songs, but we love playing in Wollongong because it always seems to go so well for us … people just want to have fun,” Mayes said.
Changa follows their 2012 remix album in collaboration with Elton John Good Morning to the Night which did exceptionally well in the UK.
“It debuted at number 1 in the UK which was actually a huge moment for us,” Mayes said. “That was amazing, Elton was trying to call us at 4am.”
PNAU will perform at the University of Wollongong Gardens on January 4. For more tour dates and for tickets visit: www.moshtix.com.au
