The three-bedroom home has a price guide of $790,000, and will be auctioned on March 3.
The charismatic grandmother has graced the stage and small screen for decades, and is remembered by many for her long-running role as ‘Madge the manicurist’ on a Palmolive liquid detergent advertisement.
Her career in the arts spans theatre, dance, music theatre and television, and she is still acting and teaching.
In recent times she has run exercise and tap-dancing classes for seniors.
She was awarded an OAM in 2011 for her services to the arts, and was also presented with the Australian Dance Award for Lifetime Achievement.
As ‘Madge’ she encouraged her clients to use Palmolive dishwashing liquid.
Ms Beard was star of the long-running television commercial between 1968 and 1988.
The home’s selling agent, Trever Molenaar from Molenaar and McNeice said the actor is selling up and moving to Sydney.
The home’s features include two outdoor living spaces; living room with fireplace, flowing onto sunlit tiled alfresco area; and rear timber deck with spa adjacent to the kitchen.
“Robina has now put her much-loved house on the market,” Mr Molenaar said.
“She and her husband moved south in 2002.
“They loved this house, but since Clive died, Robina thinks the house deserves some new happy residents.”
Mr Molenaar said Ms Beard was a highly recognisable face and personality for many Australians.
“People may have seen her around the Corrimal area shopping,” he said.
Ms Beard started out her career as a dancer before appearing in some of Australia's best-loved series including A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors and Number 96 as well as musicals such as Chicago.
“People still remember me for the Palmolive ad though,” she told the Mercury in 2014, with a laugh.
“They recognise my voice, and the catch-cry ‘you know you’re soaking in it’.”
She studied at Wollongong University in 1992, achieving her Masters Degree in Creative Arts - Theatre Strand in 1993, and teaching in the Music and Dance Faculty in 2004 and 2005.
