Both clubs began their campaigns in top fashion last week and will face-off at Macedonia Park on Thursday night.
Cringila edged out Corrimal 2-1 last Thursday while United, who are one of the early favourites for the preseason competition, coasted to a 3-0 win over South Coast United.
The winner will put themselves in pole position to progress through the pool stage.
Rangers meet South Coast in the second of the Pool B matches on Sunday afternoon at JJ Kelly Park.
Meanwhile, Shell Cove and Unanderra Hearts clash before United’s encounter on Thursday night.
Cove were promoted from the Community League at the end of last season and made an immediate impression last week with a 1-0 win over Warilla Wanderers.
Hearts were beaten 4-1 by Berkeley Sports last week.
