The northern Illawarra local will be performing under the guise of Seamus in his Irish band Shameless Seamus for the “Bombie” event which doubles as a fundraiser for Coalcliff Surf Life Saving Club.
The band came about after Moginie, who is adopted, reportedly discovered his birth family were Irish.

Noise complaints forced Wollongong City Council to ban the popular social event from being held at the surf club in December 2016. This was followed by council requesting a number of conditions be met by the club before the building could operate as a licensed music venue again.
