A Mark Every header saw United open the scoring in the 13th minute before Matthew McNab sealed the win inside the final 10 minutes.
United have now won four straight Illawarra Premier League matches, including a win over ladder leaders Bulli, to lock down fourth on the competition ladder.
Meanwhile, Wollongong Olympic lost ground on title rivals Bulli and Albion Park White Eagles after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Corrimal Rangers at Memorial Park.
Olympic are now three points off the lead, with a match against Picton Rangers next week.
