Men will meet for the fundraiser on Friday, June 29.
Special guests, including footballers and ex-footballers, will be interviewed and talking about career highlights.
“The men can mix with a couple of legends of the game,” Men of League Illawarra branch president Peter Fitzgerald said.
“The Mortimer brothers, Canterbury’s Greg Brentnall and mighty Mick Cronin have indicated they might drop in.”
The charity supports local men involved in the game in need of a helping hand.
Woonona’s Bill Robertson fell on a hard time, and needed a $5000 oxygen machine to help him breathe.
“I have respiratory problems, being on a pension I couldn’t afford the $5000,” Mr Robertson said.
“The Men of League had a talk among themselves and funded the machine.”
Last year’s men of league function in Kiama brought 120 men together for an afternoon of stories, yarns and socialising.
You don’t need to pre-book, turn up at 4pm, tickets are $15, it finishes at 7pm in time to watch the footy at home.
