The Ruth Matic trained sprinter led from the moment they jumped on Saturday night and produced another sizzling performance in windy conditions to stop the clock at 28.68 seconds over the 515m.
Embye had come into the decider as the one-to-beat after clocking 28.54 in the heats last week.
He benefitted from a favourable draw in box one to beat Zipping Mitzy (box eight) by 1-¼ lengths, with Nino De Oro in third.
By finishing runner-up, Zipping Mitzy also sealed her passage to the finals at Wentworth Park.
Jason Magri’s classy bitch was slow out of the boxes, but looped around the remainder of the field on the turn and rattled home in 28.77.
Nowra’s Regional heats also take place on Monday, with the Lakis Michael-trained Sweet Nangar (30.21) qualifying for the final in the quickest time over the 520m.
Brindle Bay, trained by Karen Midson, caused a boilover in the opening heat when the locally trained bitch saluted at $61 fixed odds.
Brindle Bay hugged the rails to score in 30.29.
David Smith's Zipping Ethics (30.40) claimed the night’s other heat, with the final set to take place on Monday next week.
The top two finishers in the final will also head to Wentworth Park.
There will be eight semi-finals over the 520m to be held on Friday, October 12.
The grand final, which will see the winner claim $1 million, will then be held on October 20.
Meanwhile, the group 1 Dapto Megastar will be held at the Illawarra-based track on Thursday night.
