Emergency services have freed an elderly man from a two-car crash at Cataract on Tuesday morning.

NSW Fire and Rescue crews had to rip the driver side door from the vehicle to free the trapped 71-year-old male.
The victim’s vehicle had a “side impact” from a second vehicle on Appin Road at the M1 Princes Motorway on-ramp, according to a NSW Ambulance spokesman.
The man was taken to St George Hospital with suspected chest, hip and arm injuries.
It’s believed the second driver was unharmed.
Police, firies and paramedics were called to the scene about 6am.
