Jordan Zunic has set his sights on an Australian PGA tour title after finishing joint leader at the Queensland Open on Friday.

With a shot at the European Tour on the radar when he flies out for the final stage of qualifying school in Spain next week, Zunic carded a three-under 68 to be -7 at the halfway stage.
In ominous form, Zunic finished with a double bogey on the par three 11th and another bogey at the par four eighth, but still had four birdies and an eagle on the ninth to keep pace the with the tournament front-runners.
Zunic will fly out to Spain next week to compete in the final round of the European Tour qualifying, in a bid to secure his card with a top 25 finish.
Fellow Illawarra professional Travis Smyth is level with the card after two rounds and will be part of the weekend action at tied for 35.
Zunic is level with Adam Blyth and first round leader, the Victorian amateur Zach Murray, heading into the third round at Brisbane Golf Club.
