However, the 2018 edition was even more memorable, as her partner Jason Sawrey proposed on the morning of the convoy.
The now engaged Oak Flats couple have been together for almost two years.
“It’s a special day for us,” Mr Sawrey, 33, said of choosing this occasion to pop the question. “We both really love the day, and we’re around people that we love and things that we love.”
Ms Ross, 23, is the daughter of Ross Transport owner Alan Ross. She works there as an office manager, while Mr Sawrey is one of their drivers.
“Ross Transport has been a part of convoy since the beginning, and we obviously met through trucks, which are a massive part of our lives,” Ms Ross said.
“I was like, ‘you’ve got to propose to me somewhere cute’, not expecting convoy… Then today when we did that it was just amazing.
"I couldn't think of a better day now that he's done it on this day.
"It's amazing; it's the best day to do it, where you're celebrating community spirit. I was so surprised, I had no idea."
