This summer, Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures will be transformed into a magical fairy wonderland. The Men’s Shed in Colac, Victoria has been working hard to create little houses which will be scattered throughout the rainforest floor. Until Jan 31. Details

Glow Worm Glen, all summer
For an amazing evening light show, visit the Glow Worm Glen at Bundanoon in the Morton National Park. Start your walk at sunset so that it’s dark by time you reach the glen. Details.
Kids railway adventures, from January 13
The Illawarra Light Railway Museum Society at Albion Park will be running Diesel and miniature train rides on January 13 as well as other dates throughout the school holidays. In Wollongong, Illawarra Live Steamers will run on January 27.
Illawarra Folk Fair, January 17-20
The Shed, in the centre of Bulli Showground, is where you’ll find the kids’ entertainment at the much-loved annual folk festival. There will be 21 sessions of music, dancing, storytelling, puppets, circus fun, instrument making and more. Details.
PJ Masks Live on Stage, until January 31
Don’t miss the popular PJ Masks Live on Stage at Warrawong Plaza in January. Shows start 11am each day, and meet and greets at 10am and 12pm. Details.
