Magistrate Susan McGowan dismissed affray charges against Bilal Deniz, 20, and Volkan Mertyurek, 23, after finding police had failed to prove that both men had not been acting in self defence at the time.
However, she described the entire scene, captured on the centre's CCTV cameras, as "disgraceful", noting a mother and young child were almost casualties of the fight after it spilled into the food court seating area where they were seated.
"There's no excuse for that behaviour, it was a disgrace," she said.
The footage, played in court during Deniz and Mertyurek's hearing on Friday, the pair being approached by brothers-in-law Harun Kutup and Mete Ilter outside Figgy Kebabz on the morning of April 7 last year.
Police documents said the four men are all known to each other and there is an ongoing feud between them, however the nature of the dispute was not publicly revealed in court on Friday.
The footage shows a heated discussion between the group before Kutup, 33, punches Mertyurek.
A fight erupts between the four men, with the group quickly moving towards a table where a mother and her four-year-old daughter are sitting. The brawl spills over the top of them, causing them to be pushed momentarily against their table.
Both were unharmed, however the child was visibly distressed, police said.
Meanwhile, the fight continues across the food court area until all four men fall to the ground, still wrestling each other.
Security guards eventually arrive and break up the fight. Police said the entire incident lasted about three minutes.
All four men were arrested and charged with affray.
Kutup and Ilter pleaded guilty in August and were both sentenced to good behaviour bonds.
However, Deniz and Mertyurek defended the charge, claiming they had been acting in self defence.
After watching the footage in court on Friday, Magistrate McGowan acknowledged that Kutup and Ilter had been the main aggressors and had instigated the fight.
"I'm not of the view that the prosecution has proven beyond reasonable doubt that both men [Deniz and Mertyurek] were not acting in self-defence," she said.
