She referred herself to the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority last year after claims were made about her interstate travel.

An investigation found she owed $2334 to taxpayers, mostly for incorrect use of chauffeured cars from 2016 to 2018.

The authority is also seeking to reclaim $269 it incorrectly paid Ms Husar.

Ms Husar says she has paid back the money, but argued the majority of the trips were taken for work events more than 65km from her home base in Penrith and they should not have been ineligible.

She also said the IPEA identified $1900 worth of allowances she was entitled to but did not claim before the deadline.

"For the record, my personal attendance at a night time Bruno Mars concert with a friend while on a work trip did not breach guidelines," Ms Husar said in a statement.

The audit found 21 of Ms Husar's 86 travel claims in the audit period did not meet the legislation and should be repaid.
