A strong round one performance in a win over Manly United has the Wolves riding high to start the new National Premier League campaign.
However, they encounter one of their toughest road trips of the campaign in a testing clash with the Tigers at Lambert Park on Sunday.
APIA beat the highly-rated Marconi Stallions in the opening round and are considered by most as a title contender again in 2019.
Wilkshire acknowledged the Tigers are one of the competition's benchmarks, but was adamant his men would up for the challenge in Sydney.
"We don't fear anyone," Wilkshire said.
"I think we want to play to our max every game and that means focusing on what we do best.
"We just want to continue to play to our potential.
"They are obviously one of the benchmarks of the competition so it will be a chance to see where are at. It's a great test."
Despite an impressive display in round one, Wilkshire has demanded improvement from his squad in the attacking third against the Tigers.
"I would like to see us take our chances," Wilkshire said.
"I think we ended up having 14 shots and only scored two.
"We certainly created enough chances so it's about being clinical this weekend."
Sunday's clash won't kick-off until 5.30pm, but will be streamed live on the NSW NPL Facebook page.
