The incident occurred about 12.30pm on November 28, when the senior constable, attached to the Southern Region, crashed the sedan he was driving.
No one was injured the incident.
Following an investigation by a regional command in the Southern Region, the senior constable was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for reckless driving.
He is due to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on May 21.
The officer's duty status is being reviewed.
