HOW TO GET THERE
TRAIN
The closest station to Illawarra Regional Airport is Albion Park.
Event attendees can cross the Princes Highway under traffic control and should follow the direction of event staff on site.
Across the weekend, all South Coast trains stopping at Albion Park between 8am and 6pm will be built up to 8 carriages.
To help you get home, additional services will leave Albion Park at 14:55, 15:50 and 16:50, stopping at Dapto, Unanderra, Coniston, Wollongong, North Wollongong, Thirroul, Helensburgh, Waterfall, Sutherland, Hurstville, Wolli Creek, Redfern, Central then all stations to Bondi Junction.
BUS
Free event shuttle buses will run from the designated P1 and P2 car parks to the event site during the event.

Premier Illawarra operates regular weekend services that stop along the Princes Highway - including routes 37, 51, 57, and 76.See Premier Illawarra bus services for more details.
CAR
If you are driving to the event, you will need to park one of two designated park and ride locations:
- P1 car park will be located at Albion Oval on the corner of the Princes Highway and Tongarra Road with Access via Ash Avenue.
- P2 car park will be located on the corner of Tongarra Road and Croome Road with access from Croome Road.
There is no general admission parking available at the Illawarra Airport during the airshow. Onsite parking is available for buses, coaches, gold pass holders and accredited disabled permit holders only.
Heavy traffic is expected on approaches to Albion Park Rail on the Princes Highway in both directions as large crowds cross the road from the train station to the festival site at the airport.
Changed traffic conditions will be implemented in the area and motorists are advised to use designated car parks as the general admission car park at the airport will be closed to the public.
From 7am to 6pm each day, Tongarra Road will be under stop/slow from the Princes Highway to Stapleton Avenue and a speed reduction to 40km/h will be enforced.
The Hargraves Avenue exit at the Princes Highway and the Croome Lane exit from the Illawarra Highway will be closed each day.
Traffic will be particularly heavy on the Princes Highway and the M1 Princes Motorway approaching Albion Park Rail. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time in the area.

WHAT CAN I BRING?
Chairs
Limited seating will be available for general admission attendees so you are encouraged to bring folding chairs or a picnic blanket.
Cameras
Still and video cameras are encouraged.
Food and drink
There will be a variety of food stalls available throughout the event site, but you are permitted to bring your own food and non-alcoholic refreshments if you wish.
Footwear
Wear comfortable shoes. Be prepared to walk a lot.
Mobility equipment
Mobility scooters and wheelchairs will be available for hire at the event but you may bring your own if you wish.
Children
Bring the kids and grandkids. Not only will the sky be full of loud and exciting aircraft but your airshow ticket price includes entry to all the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) aircraft that are open for inspection, unlimited carnival rides, multiple freestyle motocross displays throughout the day, classic cars and motorbikes, military equipment and machinery and much more. The whole family is sure to have a terrific time.
Sunscreen and sunglasses
May is a beautiful time of the year the sun can get hot so be sure to pack in some sunscreen and sunglasses.
Prams and strollers
Bring your pram or stroller if you like but single-seat prams will be available for hire at the event if you want to leave them at home.
WHAT CAN'T I BRING?
Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the event site.
Animals
No animals are permitted on the event site.
Bicycles
No bicycles will be permitted on the event site.
Scooters and Skateboards
Scooters and Skateboards are not permitted at the event.
Seniors Card
A Seniors Card does not qualify as a concession for the event.
Concession tickets are only available to Pension Card holders.
Student cards
No student concessions are available for the event.
