Ryan Sharp and Deanna Struber have been banned from contacting each other since their arrest in early April after they were accused of subjecting the Koonawarra couple to six weeks of vicious threats, culminating in Sharp allegedly blowing up a ute in the family's driveway.

In Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday, Struber, who is on conditional bail, successfully applied to have the non-contact order between the pair dropped.

Magistrate Mark Douglass agreed to allow Struber to have phone contact with Sharp, who remains in jail, but said Struber could not visit him in behind bars.

He also agreed to remove the bail condition that required Struber to report to police once a week.

Struber is facing charges of being am accessory after the fact to destroy property and stalking, while Sharp is facing 10 charges including using a carriage service to threaten to kill, threatening a person for being a witness and placing an explosive in or near a vehicle.

Court documents allege an altercation at Warrawong McDonald's on February 22 - in which Struber was beeped at by the couple after she almost reversed into their car - led to a prolonged stalking and harassment campaign.

Police allege Struber used Facebook to track the pair down, made a fake account then inquired about bedding they were selling on Facebook marketplace to get their address.

Sharp allegedly went to their house and smashed their car window on February 23, then blew up their ute on March 5.

Both cases will return to court in July.
