Special guests will be Melbourne rockers Airbourne along with MC50, featuring Wayne Kramer of the legendary MC5 with an all-star band performing MC5 classics.
The Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer has shocked and delighted fans for five decades, with his new stage show also set to impress.
The setup incorporates a Nightmare Castle, the return of FrankenAlice, plus the new Billion Dollar Baby.
The setlist will include classic hits, select deep album tracks and new music.
The tour will kick off in Perth on February 8, moving through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and finishing in the Brisbane on February 18.
Pre-sale tickets begin from 11am (local) Wednesday August 15, before the general public on sale at 2.00pm (local) Wednesday August 21 from Ticketek.
The Aussie tour will follow shows around North America and Europe.
While Cooper will release a new mini-album, The Breadcrumbs, on September 13 - a tribute to his Detroit rock origins, recorded in Detroit with Detroit musicians, featuring covers of classic Detroit-originated songs.
