They meet again on Sunday for finals survival, after Park fell 2-nil to Corrmal and Tarrawanna endured a penalty shoot-out win over Wollongong United.

"It's hard to read much out of it," Carter said.

"They were very good in the first game, we got a lot of things right last time, so hopefully we can take a bit of that in Sunday.

"But it's a different contest now, with everything on the line and they will take confidence out of beating Wollongong United.

"If it's nil-all after 80 minutes, it might be in our favour after they played extra-time, but sometimes wins like that give you a run of adrenaline and could make them very hard to beat."

One-all at full-time, Tarrawanna led through Rick Goodchild in the first half of extra-time, only for Matthew McNab to equalise and send it to a shoot-out.

Talented teen Nic Tomasiello then nailed the winning penalty to send the Blueys through.

Corrimal will meet premiers Wollongong Olympic for a spot in the grand final, after Rangers win over Park.

Tim Wylie and Van Elia scored during a five-minute first-half blitz.

"We just didn't play to our standard and maybe that's credit to Corrimal, they had a plan and we couldn't match it," Carter said.
