Moving subs to Port Kembla is just the start, says senator

Australia has bought 12 of the French-designed Shortfin Barracuda submarines and there are early talks about them being based on the east coast - possibly at Port Kembla.

A campaigner for a navy base at Port Kembla sees the suggestion of a submarine fleet based there as just "phase one".
