A man will front court on Wednesday accused of physically abusing a 12-week-old baby in Warrawong.

Police will allege the man also physically abused a 17-year-old woman.
Both alleged victims are known to him.

The baby girl was taken to hospital with serious head and arm injuries in September which prompted State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad detectives to launch an investigation.
The baby has since been released from hospital and alternate care arrangements have been made.
Following extensive investigations, a 20-year-old man was arrested at a Warrawong unit about 1pm on Tuesday.
He was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station and charged with 19 domestic violence-related offences.
The offences include reckless grievous bodily harm, 10 counts of contravening restrictions in an AVO, three counts of common assault, two counts of intentionally choking a person without consent, two counts of stalk/intimidate intending fear or physical harm and damaging property.
The man was refused police bail and will appear at Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.
