Balgownie's Jamie Fleming has praised the team's senior players for stepping up and leading the Magpies to their first win of the summer on Saturday.

The defending premiers entered the clash with Dapto desperate to avoid an 0-3 start to the season and Fleming said their performance reflected that attitude.
After bowling the Canaries out for 112, Balgownie overcame an early stumble with the bat to reach the target inside 28 overs.
"It was a bit of a relief, to be honest," Fleming said.
"It obviously wasn't a good start, so we had to show up and put in a good performance. We were undermanned and the senior players stepped up."
Chasing a low total, the Magpies lost four early wickets and Fleming conceded he had flashbacks to last week, where the side was bowled out for 70 by Wests.
Ultimately Paul Lynam and Brandon Brown steadied the ship, with the pair guiding the team to a six-wicket victory.
"We struggle with smaller totals. At 4-40, I thought 'Here we go again'. Paul Lynam and Brandon Brown dug deep for a few overs and then it flowed from there.
"It was a determined performance from those two, which is something we have lacked this year with our batting."
Saturday's other matches saw Wests comfortably overcome Helensburgh, while Uni captain Mitch Hearn impressed with bat and ball to lead his side past Keira.
Northern Districts claimed a six-wicket win over Port Kembla and a Mitchell Jones century helped Corrimal upset Wollongong.
