"A once in a lifetime dog" was how trainer Frank Hurst described Good Odds Harada, after he added the the Group 1 Dapto Megastar crown to Million Dollar Chase riches claimed earlier this year.

Jumping from box four, Good Odds Harada was only away fairly, but after spearing up to rail inside Start A Riot at the first turn, he had charged to a commanding lead in the back straight.
From there it was a mere formality, winning by four lengths as the $2.30 race favourite, with the Keith Hellmuth State A Riot ($15) second and Peter Carr's Jimmy Casey recovering from early interference to run third.
The $75,000 prizemoney from the Megastar after winning the lucrative Million Dollar Chase means Good Odds Harada moved to third all-time for career earnings.
"What do they say? It hasn't been a good year, it's been a great year," Hurst told thedogs.com.au.
"Not in your wildest dreams do you think this could happen. Greyhound racing is just on fire and we're on fire with it. How good is that? It doesn't get much better than this.
"These are priceless memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
"We will probably have dogs all our lives, but we won't have dogs as good as this. This dog is a once in a lifetime dog. He is special. He's a great dog."
Only Fanta Bale ($1.365m) and Fernando Bale ($1.299m) sit ahead of Good Odds Harada ($1,223m) with more prizemoney.
"The dog makes his own luck because he's such a ferocious chaser," Hurst said.
"If he can get his own way, well he beat the best in the land in the Million Dollar race."
