Wilson will resume next Saturday at 97*, the Eagles 6-247 with 16 overs still to bat before they must declare.
Albion Park captain Ty Barton said Wilson, the older brother of Sydney Thunder star Tahlia Wilson, was outstanding.
"Tommy was brilliant," Barton said. "He batted with so much patience, he's really starting to come of age. He's the future of this club.
"Hopefully Tom can get his hundred, then we'll push on and try get past 300. They'll have to treat it like a one-dayer if they want a result. We have a bowling attack that can take 10 wickets, so hopefully we can get the win."
The clash between Lake Illawarra and The Rail is evenly poised, the Razorbacks 0-19 after bowling the Lakers out for 250.
Shellharbour have already secured first-innings points against Kookas, who are 2-40 and trail by 60 in their second innings.
